Le film traduit en images le décalage temporel entre la Russie contemporaine et celle du début du xxe siècle, avec une distance qui souligne un vide qu’on ne peut combler au cœur de tout émigré.

This film expresses through images the temporal discrepancy between the Russia of today and that of the early twentieth century with a distance highlighting the unbridgeable void at the heart of any emigrant.
